New York City has the worlds largest and most impressive fireworks display in the
country from barges and even the New York Fire Dept. use their fire boats to shoot red, white and blue water over 300 feet over the river. It is usually held over the East River at approximately 9 pm and can also be seen from boats in Jersey City and Liberty State Park. Last year alone 22 tons of pyrotechnics were used for this fireworks display- the largest amount of fireworks in the country. The Macys Fourth of July Fireworks display has been televised nationwide since 1976 on NBC.
You can book a seat at the NY Waterway Tours which run on the Hudson River viewing the fireworks. At the Hudson Terrace rooftop you can enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet and for a little extra even book a private cabana. The Circle Line has cruises over the river that include a bar, buffet and DJ. And the Empire State Building sells only 250 tickets to view the extraordinary fireworks from its famous roof top.

Coney Island – Everyone is happy for hours on this famous beach with its hot dog eating contests, concerts and parades. Not to mention enjoying the Cyclone and the world famous Nathan’s. Just watch the skies and enjoy the fireworks display at this beach.
